The Office of the Executive Director (EDS11) represents the Kingdom of Bahrain, Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Lebanon, the Republic of Maldives, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the West Bank and Gaza, the United Arab Emirates, and the Republic of Yemen.
The Executive Director at the World Bank Group represents the constituency in meetings at the World Bank Group and engages in direct consultations and negotiations on behalf of the countries, all while working to promote and achieve the World Bank Group’s twin goals of ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity.
